Live Visual Notes / Graphic Recording
Role: Live visual note-taker, Instructor
From 2018-2023, I worked as a live visual note-taker at Ink Factory. While listening to meetings, keynote speeches, conferences, or any form of presentation, I took live notes using text and images to convey complex information. This was all done in real time. The only preparation was drawing the title ahead of the talk.
The style of work was done both on a physical board with large markers at the front of the room, and digitally on an iPad. This is a collection of some live visual notes I created while working at Ink Factory.
I also led the education team at Ink Factory, developing and teaching in-person and virtual workshops on how to take visual notes.
